FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long after the shoot will it take for me to get the finished project?

A: We strive for a 2 day turnaround on Matterport Showcases and Still Photos, and we rarely miss this mark. However, there is an occasional delay of a day or two because of required software and hardware updates to our equipment. Custom floor plans take 3-4 business days.

Q: How will I know when my products are ready to view?

A: Upon completion, we will immediately send you an email with all necessary information, links, and attachments.

Q: What software do I need to view Matterport models?

A: A simple internet browser will do the trick. Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox all work well, but be sure that you are using the latest version. The tours look even better on the Androids and iPhones operating systems.

Q: Do I stage the area, or does the photographer?

A: You are responsible for making sure all areas are clean, and staged in the presentable position you are wanting. A well presented home will make a great first impression. A poorly presented home will ensure that buyers don't come view it in person. Focus on cleanliness. Make sure things are tidy. Turn off all ceiling fans. Depending on the room lighting, our photographers may open or close blinds, and turn lights on or off as needed.

Q: Do you carry insurance?

A: Yes. We carry general liability insurance in the amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000).

Q: How far do you travel?

A: IntraExact primarily services the AL, FL, and MS Gulf Coast areas, but often have clients a few states away that request our services. Prices are dependent upon the size and scope of the project. Give us a call. We are very interested in unique and non-profit spaces to capture.

Q: Who needs to be present during the shoot?

A: ONLY our IntraExact Photographer. In fact, we request to work alone because our special equipment often picks up human interaction. This nearly always causes multiple reshoots, turning a 1 hour shoot into a 2 hour shoot.

Q: How will your IntraExact Photographer get inside the property?

A: If the residence does not have a lock box installed, then you or the owner/manager will need to meet us onsite to let us in. IntraExact Photographers are local, trustworthy, and background checked. Your valuables should be placed in a secure location, however, as we take NO responsibility for lost or stolen items.

Q: How long does it take to scan a typical space?

A: A typical shoot largely depends on the space and how it is broken up. A large open Dining Hall or Event Hall, for example, might take the same amount of time as a smaller residence with hallways and rooms. For real estate applications, we figure to scan each 1,000 square feet will end up taking about 30-45 minutes. So a typical 2,000 square foot home can be scanned in about 60 to 90 minutes.
